Well this week we’ve not been up to very much, but we did build a house, only a ginger bread one though, not a real house obviousy. Then on Thursday we went to a Christmas do with the Wild at Heart people and on Friday we went with my work. Here are the pictures.
Monday night was a special night, Hannah cooked Ckicken Parma, which was really good! It was excellent, I really enjoyed eating it, so tasty.. arrrgggghhhh.. Then we opened the 5th day of our advent calendars and later on had our Christmas lollipops.. After all of this fun I went on to model another three buildings in Sudbury for Google Earth, I modeled this buildings: LCBO #50 87 & 93 Durham Street BMO Bank I was busy!
We have had our first snow this season, last night, Hannah noticed it first and then I walked into work this morning in it.
Last weekend Hannah and I spent both days at Wild at Heart. Hannah was originally there to help out with the yard sale but instead spent her time outside making the enclosures winter ready by nailing planks of wood to the outside of the cages. She also managed to pick up a few items very cheap; we got me a pair of ice skates for a mere $5. We also got a dressing table mirror and a lamp. I helped Brian and Ivan with the cages. Brian and I roofed two of the cages in two days, we put 1/2″ think sterling board flooring in 8′ x 4′ sheets on, then put the shingles onto that. Getting the shingles on straight and aligned is challenge. We also got some of the mesh up inside of one of the cage’s ceiling, using a compressed air stapler, which was capable of firing […]
Well, here I am, on my own in Canada.. Poor me, missing Hannah.. I wonder what she’s up to?! I have a couple of things planned to keep me from missing her too too much. I am going to watch the Rugby tomorrow with Kobus at 92 Hyland Drive. In the morning I might go to a city auction, Eddie said he might come too. On Sunday Troy, Patrick, one of Pat’s friends and I are going to Burwash Prison, not because we’ve done something wrong, but becsause its disused since the 70’s I think. Might try to write my speech now.
Yes you read it right, we did, honestly. We did! Here are some pictures that we took after we’d gone past at about 90km/h, stopped, turned around at the next safe opertunity, pulled up on the side of the road, gone into the trunk (boot) and retirved my camera, then gotten back into the car.. in this time I think the bear had decided that it wasn’t going to hang about for the tourists to watch one going about one’s business, it was able to cover about 50 or so meters away from us in a very short time, far faster than I could have run.. Impressive to say the least. We weren’t the only ones to stop, a truck went by and came back to take pictures also..
Hannah and I spent the morning (9 till 12) at the wildlilfe place, Hannah fed a couple of small birds, a reven and also the racoons. I poured concrete, we managed to pour the three cage bases that we did last time I was there, also, because the concrete went so far, we made another base and poured that too! I am knackered now, harder than the gym any day! I am now sat in the laundret across the road waiting for our washing to be done. Hannah is doing some washing at our laundry room in the appartment building.
Brendan lost his ‘works’ laptop, mainly because its the spare one and someone else needed it more then he did to post on here!! They have returned it to him, so he has finally downloaded pictures from his camera. They date back to when Jessicsa was here all those weeks ago! They are: The last few are from when we went for a walk around the area.
This weekend we have mostly been.. Christmas shopping. I loved the Fast Show. www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-z5T8meC84&feature=player_detailpage Hannah and I spent this weekend trying to get lots of Christmas shopping done so that we can bringthe presents back when we come home in the coming weeks! This does not mean that you will get to open them any sooner, it’ll just start the agony of not touching, shaking, squeezing, etc the presents. Consider yourself told! Other than we haven’t been up to very much, I went into Science north to ask after drawings of the building so that I may model it for Google earth, I now have the name and number of the CEO. Hopefully that’ll come off. We’ve been sorting more wedding stuff. I think we are getting closer with each day, logically enough! This week we’re going to Wacky Wings, which is a new place in town. On Wednesday nights […]
I am busy trying to model lots of Sudbury for Google earth since very little is modelled so far. So I am going to see how much I can do!
