This may, or may not, be the start of a fair size project. I have dragged the V8 engine and gear box that was pulled from my white V8 110 Country station wagon some 15 or so years ago. Since then it has been languishing in a hedge getting grown in with brambles, Having dragged it out using Dave’s winch, we split the engine, gearbox and transfer case, removed the exhaust manifold and bits. Then the next day Alan and I stripped the remainder of the engine down. Loaded it all into the car and brought it home. Next is the job of cleaning it all down, and seeing what’s okay and what’s not. I shall then make a decision on whether or not to carry on and rebuild this engine, or whether to not bother and do something different. Got some thinking and cleaning to do.
