Halfway Lake

Hannah and I went to Halfway Lake today, we got there at about 12noon and had some lunch. Today is back to school for the kids, so the beach and camp site was VERY quiet. There was one couple about half a kilometer up the beach and another person way down the beach in the other direction. The weather was beautiful, the only noise was leaves falling from the trees and the odd wood pecker and a chipmunk going about their business. Hannah dropped a few crisps much to her dismay, which the chipmunk took a liking to. We went for a row out across the lake, then swam and chilled for a few hours in the sun. As we were leaving another couple arrived, they apparently always take a holiday this time of year to catch the quiet season. They’d come up from Toronto for three weeks. We headed back home, visited CostCo and then went to see Katie, Troy & Blake.
