We went to the ‘John Nike Leisuresport complex’, home of the Bracknell Bees ice hickey team. We saw them play Telford Tigers and lose to them. The Bees played well, but according to Hannah’s research they’ve only won 7 games this season. The river Spey is the fastest flowing river in Scotland. It was almost in a flood condition on this day, possibility because of melt water running off the mountains.
I travelling to Kiruna on Monday. The sun set in Stockholm between 4 and 4pm, but it was already gone in Kiruna by 2.30pm. So as I left Stockholm at 2.30pm it rapidly went dark. On Sunday I went down into Hampshire to find the byways. I went ill-prepared relying on the mobile internet for directions. I found that Three doesn’t provide a fantastic service out in the sticks in Hampshire. But when I did pick up some signal I bought a couple of OS map squares and off I went again. I met with a group of 4 land rovers on my way towards Hindhead. We exchanged some tips and I was on my way again.
