We went for a walk around South Hill park on Tuesday evening, it was very pleasant. We had another skip yesterday, got it loaded, didn’t finish until about 9.30 last night. I painted the land rover parts again, the picture though is pretty vivid. The red is a little more dull in reality. Also the hole got a little larger too and I put the pannier rack onto my bike. We walked through an underpass in Bracknell at the weekend. It was quite surreal with the reflection on the other side. I would have liked to have seen it when it was more flooded. The swans were in seen in Windsor. I had a 6 cubic yard skip delivered Monday morning. I had a hand from our neighbour to load the skip using a wheel barrow. Now soil has an approximate bulk density of 1.6 tonnes per cubic meter. Let’s assume 5 cubic yards went in the skip, as it is not entirely full. That is about 3.82 cubic meters, thus we moved 6.1 tonnes of soil in two hours. Not bad going eh? On Saturday we took the shed to the recycling centre. We plan on digging out the garden to create a flat area. Then I shall get a larger new shed. Saw some pretty big spiders under the shed, but none of the lizards or snakes that I had hoped to see. I broke my sledge hammer, but got it replaced, also planted dad’s plants out front. We visited Nuffield House and Greys Court on Saturday with Martin and Diane. It was interesting just how much more I noticed this time around, having been there once before. The thickness of doors and robustness and build quality of the fixtures and fittings in Nuffield House is impressive. Since Joel has been living with us we have been doing jigsaws what we received for Christmas. Today we organised all the thousand bits by colours and parts. Hannah also had her heals out tonight.
