When I travelled to Kiruna I landed to see the aurora, I just got 10 photos of black on my phone but Craig did better.[peg-image src=”http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h–yr4WMcVg/ViSwSscJrNI/AAAAAAAAPJI/lBXfr9rw-Jk/s144-o/DSC_0349.JPG” href=”https://picasaweb.google.com/100446983108465419613/2015101902#6207280021636754642″ caption=”” type=”image” alt=”DSC_0349.JPG” image_size=”3008×2000″ ] [peg-image src=”http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-PD3YqNqzmY0/ViSwStDlJkI/AAAAAAAAPJM/pzWfHI51-PA/s144-o/DSC_0346.JPG” href=”https://picasaweb.google.com/100446983108465419613/2015101902#6207280021802133058″ caption=”” type=”image” alt=”DSC_0346.JPG” image_size=”3008×2000″ ] The photo’s are good, but far from realistic, the lights are more white than green, the ribbon like shape is more deinfed and crisp than the pictures shows too. the bottom edge of the lights were actually glowing red, which I have not seen before. I was told by someone that they have been experiencing these very extreme lights for a month or so now.
