I travelling to Kiruna on Monday. The sun set in Stockholm between 4 and 4pm, but it was already gone in Kiruna by 2.30pm. So as I left Stockholm at 2.30pm it rapidly went dark.
On Sunday I went down into Hampshire to find the byways. I went ill-prepared relying on the mobile internet for directions. I found that Three doesn’t provide a fantastic service out in the sticks in Hampshire. But when I did pick up some signal I bought a couple of OS map squares and off I went again. I met with a group of 4 land rovers on my way towards Hindhead. We exchanged some tips and I was on my way again.
I received my 3/4″ drive, 13/16″ AF socket today, so I spent the evening trying to get the top shackle bolts undone. On the drivers side I have removed the inner of the bush along with the bolt. The passenger side was more forth coming.
Then on the driver side I had gone with the shack-less option.
And here are a couple more images of the disk brake conversion. Today I have sent out for a couple of quotes for the part or at least a prototype of it.
This is my design so far, no finished or tested yet.
And this is the 3D PDF Adaptor01-Model-000
Yesterday I spent the day CAD modelling the various components of interest in Inventor.
I started with the more basic parts.
I completed the whole model late last night, this is the 3D PDF.
